Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Buffalo police have arrested a man in connection with last Sunday's fatal shooting of 41 year old Clint Reeder, on Stockbridge Avenue in the city.
Arrested and charged with murder in the second degree and criminal possession of a weapon is Andrello M. Brown, 35 years old.
On April 12th, the victim was struck by gunfire, in front of a house in the one-hundred block of Stockbridge Avenue, in the northeast section of the city. He was taken to Erie County Medical Center, by ambulance, but died as a result of his injuries.
Following a weeklong investigation commenced by the Homicide Squad, a suspect was arrested early Thursday morning. The Special Weapons and Tactics team was utilized to enter an upper apartment on Lisbon Avenue, and the suspect was taken into custody without incident. Homicide Squad Detective Sergeant William J. Cooley, Detectives Scott R. Malec, Mark C. White and Jason M. Mayhook also participated in the pre-dawn raid.
The detectives also recovered a handgun in the apartment, which will be examined to determine if it is the murder weapon.Brown was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center, without bail, pending further court proceedings next month.
