Buffalo, NY (WBEN) - Buffalo Police are looking for help to find people responsible for what appear to be targeted attacks on the elderly.
Buffalo Police Investigators are looking into several home invasions and burglaries near Military Road and Austin Street.
The suspects are considered violent, and are believed to be white males, possibly in their 30s.
Police say they are in the surrounding neighborhood, and have often asked homeowners to do work around the home before returning to rob them.
The family of 77-year-old Norm Farner detailed in a graphic facebook post how he was a victim of what they believe to be the same suspects. Farner was beaten with a crowbar after trying to fight off the intruders, and had to be treated at ECMC.
The public is urged to be aware of suspicious activity and be cautious of inviting those into your home.
