She then explained what's next for this new-look board, as four of the members are new, while five incumbents remained.

"The first priority is to get together with the board, so that we can decide what we want to do collectivelly," she began. "I feel that if we make sure we get everybody engaged upfront, then we will make sure that we're all working together and that we will be able to come up with some great outcomes. I am so excited about this new board - each board member brings unique experiences, and they are go-getters, so I expect them, in comparison to similar boards, to be a phenomenal board."


West District representative Jennifer Mecozzi will serve as the new vice president of executive affairs, while and newly-elected Dr. Ann Rivera will serve as vice president of student achievement.
