BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Charlie's Boat Yard, a popular restaurant for area boaters, will finish its expansion at the end of the week
"A lot of people ask us for smaller parties of 20-40 people and we can't tie up the rest of our restaurant for that on the weekends," he said. "That gave us the great idea."
The restaurant appeals largely to area boaters but Goodspeed said bicyclists have also shown an interest in the restaurant.
"It looks big," Goodspeed added. "It looks bright. It looks clean. It looks brand new. You'll have a great view of the lake as you're sitting down."
Goodspeed said the site used to be a hot dog shack then it was expanded into the former Charlie's Boat Yard. The restaurant employs approximately 120 employees.
