Amherst, NY (WBEN) The Amherst Town Board has renewed the game room license for Chuck E. Cheese's, six months after security changes took place.
The security changes were put in place after the Town Attorney's Office reported 18 serious incidents over four years, and several high profile incidents between March 2017 and June 2018, including one brawl caught on video that went viral.
The town pressured Chuck E. Cheese's owners to make changes. Those changes include a new security firm, conflict resolution training for employees, and reducing the maximum size for birthday parties.
