Emergency Landing at Buffalo Airport

Cheektowaga, N.Y. (WBEN) -  A snowy, chaotic morning Wednesday also included an emergency landing at Buffalo Niagara International Airport.  

A Southwest 737 was coming in around 9am with an unknown emergency.

WBEN learned that 76 people were on board the jet.  

According to Erie County Blotter, the plane reported a flap problem.  As a precaution, an "Alert 2" was declared.

The aircraft landed safely.  The flight originated from Orlando.
