Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Erie County is seeking a legal help with Bills lease negotiations. The county has posted arequest for proposals on its website, seeking qualified law firms interested in serving as Special Counsel to the County.
The firm would be involved with negotiations, real estate transactions and contractual matters.
The County of Erie, New York is currently seeking Proposal Statements from qualified law firms interested in serving as Special Counsel to the County. The selected firm shall provide a wide variety oflegal services, including representing the County's interests in all aspects of negotiations, real estate transactions and complex contractual matters related to negotiations regarding a Professional Football Stadium. Proposers interested in providing legal representation services are invited to respond to this request.
The proposals are due by March 27th and a selection willbe made around May 15th.
The current stadium lease expires in 2023.
