BUFFALO, N.Y. (WBEN) - Fans are already hyped for a marquee matchup this Sunday as the Buffalo Bills battle the Baltimore Ravens this Sunday. But an old favorite is coming back to Western New York to make the hype even bigger: Flutie Flakes

The cereal will make its return this Sunday at New Era Field for its 20th anniversary. Originally released in 1998 and bearing the likeness of the former Bills quarterback, Flutie Flakes will go on sale next week at area Wegmans and online. Doug Flutie will also sign a limited number of boxes on Sunday.

"It's been great," PLB Sports and Entertainment CEO Ty Ballou said. "We started in 1998 hoping to sell maybe 20,000 to 30,000 boxes. Currently we're at 2.3 million and who knows what the cap will be on this one."

In addition to Flutie Flakes, you can buy Flutie Flakes t-shirts and hats online. Ballou said he's unsure if more Flutie Flakes will be made out of concerns for oversaturation.

Ballou said the actual food will likely not be in the boxes because the truck will not be able to make it to the stadium in time.
