Buffalo, NY (WBEN) Organizers of the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge series have canceled all of the races for this year, including Buffalo.
In a statement, organizers say they "had been exploring the possibility of conducting all 15 Corporate Challenges in the second half of this year, but ongoing uncertainty of the effects of COVID-19 dictated a more cautious approach. While we're disappointed that we will not be able to see through what would have been the most global year in our history – with events scheduled in eight countries on all six inhabited continents – we are planning to be with you again in person throughout 2021.For those who entered:
- Entrants and companies in Corporate Challenge cities that had begun registration will receive a full refund of their race entry fee and/or post-race hospitality.
- Payments made via credit card or via ACH/bank transfer will be refunded within 30 days
- We will fully honor our planned donations to not-for-profit organizations in each Corporate Challenge city.
- We intend to deliver a virtual Corporate Challenge experience this year and will be in touch soon.
The event in Buffalo was held at Delaware Park.
