LANCASTER, N.Y. (WBEN) - A Lancaster woman was sentenced after stealing from the Hillview Elementary Parent Teacher Organization last year.
Danyelle Osika, 42, was sentenced to a one-year conditional discharge after she stole $3,800 while working as a district representative for the PTO last March. She tried to make a false entry in the records to conceal the theft.
She plead guilty to a misdemeanor on SEptember 17. She was removed as a representative at the beginning of the school year.
Her sentence means she is not allowed to have a position where she has access to another person or organization's funds. She paid full restitution to the PTO.
