Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A Cheektowaga man will spend 15 years behind bars after pleading guilty to strangling his girlfriend during sex.
27-year-old Sonny Martinez pleaded guilty to one count of Manslaughter in the Second Degree as a Sexually Motivated Felony last month.
He admitted to causing the death of 23-year-old Brittney Balbuzoski inside his apartment on Ivanhoe Road back in January.
