Buffalo, NY (WBEN) The man who unsuccessfully challenged Congressman Chris Collins says the resignation of Collins puts an end to a long Western New York nightmare.
McMurray says none of this, including Collins' resignation is a surprise. McMurray says we must recognize Collins stole many years of represenation from the people of WNY, and a lot of people helped him do that. "Some of those same people are saying today push the reset button, nothing to see here," he says and he plans to hold those people accountable.
As for a special election, "I implore you Governor Cuomo to declare a special election as soon as possible," says McMurray.
