Buffalo, NY (WBEN) As Chris Collins prepares to serve a 26 month sentence for insider trading and lying to the FBI about it, some of the candidates in NY27 are reacting to the news.
McMurray says Republicans will try to get voters to forget about what happened in 2018 to get one of their candidates elected.
Jacobs says whoever becomes the representative in NY27 must earn voters' trust. "The way we handle things and carry ourselves matter. I always try to conduct myself with integrity and high ethical standards. I will do that in any capacity, and certainly if I am elected to Congress, I will do that," says Jacobs.

This district deserves a faithful and hardworking conservative representing them in Congress, putting the needs of Western New York and America first.
