North Tonawanda, NY (WBEN) An aide to State Senator Rob Ortt has resigned after a video of him posted on social media shows him berating a 14 year old girl and her friend.
Ortt issued this statement: “The employee in question submitted his resignation today and I accepted it. Beyond our official duties, I hold myself and my staff to the highest standards of professionalism and conduct. The employee's actions in these videos did not meet those standards.”
Ortt's office identifies the aide as Robert Welch.

Carla Morano posted on Facebook "One of the kids jumped over a lawn sign his toe hit it (have it on video). A man and woman come outside screaming and yelling at them calling the girls bi***s and using racial slurs. They continued on to the store. On the way back they get in their car following them recording them screaming they are gonna f***ing kill them!"
She says she drove by the house and the sign was not damaged
