Buffalo, NY (WBEN) A former Town of Tonawanda paramedic is indicted on a charge of stealing drugs.
52 year old Jon Cinelli is accused of stealing various prescription medications from a drug drop-off box located in the lobby of the town police department.
Cinelli was released on his own recognizance. A return date has not been scheduled at this time.
If convicted on all charges, Cinelli faces a maximum sentence of 9 years in prison.
The other paramedic accused, Jeremy Pecoraro, has been charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the Seventh Degree. His case remains pending transfer to Amherst Town Court.
