Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - There is another Summer calendar change. Organizers of Shakespeare in Delaware Park have made the decision to forgo the first show of it's 45th anniversary season due to the Covid-19 crisis. "As You Like It" was scheduled to run June 18 - July 12.
Shakespeare in Delaware Park is free community theater and relies on donations from the audiences. They may have to find a new way to pass the hat. "Things have been changing anyway," said Ludwig. "Virtual payments with Venmo and Paypal. There are ways to get around that."
Shakespeare in Delaware Park is a not-for-profit theatre company, founded in 1976.
