Town of Elba, NY (WBEN) A double fatal accident Saturday in the Town of Elba is being blamed on the weather. New York State Police say that a car traveling north on Oak Orchard Road went out of control on the snow covered roadway and slid into the path of an oncoming pick-up truck. The driver of the car and passenger, identified as 53-year-old, Teresa Norton and 22-year-old Thomas Norton, 22 both of Albion, were pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the pick-up, 59-year-old, Jeffrey Toussaint of Albion was taken to Erie County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
