(WBEN) On Friday night about 6:30 Niagara Regional Police Services responded to a call of 3 people in the Niagara River near Jarvis Street and Niagara Boulevard,
A bystander had pulled a woman and a young child out and both were were taken to a hospital. The body of the third person, 29-year old Raymond Douglas Brooks of Fort Erie was pulled from the waters Saturday. Before it became apparent that Brooks had died in the river, the Regional Police issued a wanted for atttempted murder poster.
The 29-year old woman died yesterday in the hospital. Reports are that the child was in stable condition.
