Buffalo based Valu Home Centers says it will close three stores. Those stores are in Olean, Painted Post, and Warren, Pennsylvania. According to Business First, the company blames changing buying habits in the retailing sector as part of the reason for the move.

The Niagara County Industrial Development Agency has announced its Consolidated Funding Application for the Microenterprise Grant Program has been approved by New York State. This makes $200,000 in funding available. The program will provide resources to support and foster the development of local microbusinesses.
