KeyBank Community Development Lending & Investment has provided a $5.4 million construction loan and $6.7 million in 9% tax credit equity to Belmont Housing Resources for WNY, Inc. The total of $12.1 million in financing will go toward the construction of Elim Townhomes, located at 205 Holden Avenue in Buffalo.
The Buffalo Planning Board approving a trio of items at its meeting earlier this week. As reported by Business First, the sale of Oscar's B&B at 288 Linwood Avenue went through. A proposal to add 20,000-square-feet to the Better Wire Products operation on Babcock Street was okayed and a request for a special-use permit to open a tavern at 378 Seneca Street was approved. That building sits next to the recently closed DiTondo's Restaurant.
Lawley has entered into a "joint venture partnership" with Rhoe B. Henderson Insurance Agency in Jamestown. That gives Lawley an 11th office in Western New York.
