Rochester, N.Y. (WBEN) - Wegmans stores have expanded limits on the purchase of certain products due to coronavirus.
The chain says customers are stocking up on paper products, cleaning supplies and a variety of shelf-stable food items. As demand for these items continues to grow and supply remains limited, they are working with suppliers and pursuing additional sources to replenish supplies. Wegmans also reports seeing an increase in e-commerce business and anticipate that demand will continue to grow.
The Wegmans website now lists items including store brand toilet paper and water as being limited due to the high-demand.
