(WBEN) - It will take a lot of planning in not so much time if you're looking to see the Bills' playoff game in person.
Now that we know Buffalo will be in Houston this Saturday afternoon at 4:30, many Bills fans have already planned their travel. If you're still looking to go, there's some good and bad news.
"The good news is that there's a lot of hotels available and they're very reasonable," said Elizabeth Carey with the AAA. "The flights however, if you didn't already book them, they're very expensive. You can get some flights, but they went up in price even since yesterday."
Just how cheap can a hotel be?
"$59 for a Comfort Inn, $89 for the Hilton," Carey said. "Those are pretty reasonable rates. It looks like there's plenty of hotel inventory available."
Getting to Houston though is a different story. When the Bills clinched a playoff spot a couple of weeks ago, a round trip flight from Buffalo to Houston this weekend would have cost around $300.00. However, now there are fewer flights to choose from, and the cost has risen to $700 to $1,000 now depending on when you travel.
Driving is always an option, but it's about a 22-hour trip.
