The rapid rise for local gas prices continues. The average cost for a gallon of unleaded gas in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area jumped ten cents to $2.43, according to the AAA. The price at the pump here has jumped fifteen cents in the past month.
Launched last November, the Buffalo-based restaurant database and food delivery app 'appétit' is expanding. Business First reporting the company has hired five people for an office staff for customer service, marketing and logistics. It's also looking to add to its team of 25 drivers. More than 120 restaurants have already signed up for the service, which has been used by more than 3,000 customers.

M&T Bank Buffalo Bills Facebook page post with a hashtag of YESMTBANK, M&T will donate $2 to Pancho Packs - up to $12,000. Those photos have the chance to be featured in a banner message that M&T will deliver to the team during practice on Wednesday or Thursday. Pancho Packs is an initiative through The Teacher's Desk of Buffalo to provide school supplies for students in need in honor of Bills superfan Ezra Castro, also known as Pancho Billa. Fans can submit as many photos as they'd like.
