Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Here's a unique piece of Highmark Stadium you can own: Bud Light is making a limited edition beer called "Blizzard Brew", which is made using snow that fell on Highmark Stadium this season. The beverage will hit shelves in 16 oz. cans and is considered 'limited edition'.
Cedarland Development is making some changes to a planned $25 million housing complex along Broadway, Adams and Grey streets on Buffalo's East Side. The original plan to build an apartment building has been scrapped, with townhouses being proposed instead. The homes are planned for 20 vacant parcels on the three streets and are just a few blocks away from the Central Terminal.
A four-unit apartment building at 3920 Bailey in Amherst has sold. Investors Nine Properties of WNY paid $550,000 for the building.
Buffalo Prep's senior director David Johnson will take over day-to-day operations of the school beginning July 1st of next year. He takes over for Patti Stephen, who will now focus on strategic planning. The transition has been in the works for six months.
