Buffalo Black Business Month will be celebrated throughout the month of August. The city will host a series of educational events over the rest of this month featuring seminars on business for youths, improving your credit score, the food industry, real estate and the evolving cannabis industry. All events will take place at the Exchange at Beverly Gray, 334 E. Utica Avenue from 6pm to 8pm.
The Genesee County Economic Development Center board of directors will consider a resolution for a solar farm project in Batavia from Oak Orchard Solar 3 LLC today. If the project is accepted then the board will invest $9 million in the project.
NOCO has established two new divisions called NOCO Forestry and NOCO Environmental. The Forestry division will work to produce organic products, while the Environmental division will focus on industrial cleanliness along with waste disposal.
