Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - After 40 years in business, Chrusciki Bakery will shut down this Sunday, May 31st. A post on the bakery's Instagram and Facebook said "we are beyond grateful for every customer, employee, friend, and family member who walked through our doors and supported us throughout the years." Owner Ania Duchon told Business First the decision came down to focusing on family.

A newly remodeled American Eagle is back open at the Walden Galleria. The upgrade includes a navy façade, improved lighting and new fixtures.


Gas prices in Buffalo have dropped 1 cent over the last week, averaging $4.58/gallon according to AAA. That's still nine cents higher than the national average of $4.49/gallon. Locally, the price of diesel didn't move, staying at $5.89.
