Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The Tap Room at Clarksburg Cider on Walden Avenue in Lancaster is shutting down, according to a Facebook post from owner Michael Robb. Robb says difficulties with a changing economy and unstable workforce led to the decision. The company itself will remain operational and will continue making Clarksburg Hard Cider.

Beyond Support Network, a group that provides support services for people with learning disabilities, is hosting a free wellness fair Thursday morning from 9 to 1 in the afternoon at the Tri-Main Center in Buffalo. 35 vendors will be there. The event is open to all individuals and families.


Five Star Bank just wrapped up its annual Work of Heart week, serving 43 nonprofits throughout Western and Central New York. More than 550 employees volunteered over 1,500 hours between Western and Central New York from September 23rd-27th.

Towne Hyundai of Orchard Park donated $100,000 to FeedMore WNY to support the group's plans for a new headquarters in Hamburg. Nearly $80 million has been raised for the project.
