Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Fitch Ratings has changed Buffalo's outlook from "Stable" to "Negative" and downgraded the city's Issuer Default Rating and General Obligation Bond rating from A+ to A. Fitch says legal settlements have hit the city's reserves. A reliance on non-recurring revenue sources was once again named as an issue for the city's credit rating. Tops is teaming with Colvin Cleaners and Buffalo Niagara Honor Flight for a second time on the Stars for our Troops program. 33,850 stars will be presented to active military members and first responders. The stars were gathered from 677 worn and tattered flags that were collected at Tops stores, its corporate office and warehouse. The stars will be distributed across a network of nursing homes, VA Hospitals, honor flights and to veterans at Tops stores.
ECMC hosts its sixth annual minority and women-owned business vendor networking fair Wednesday from 10am-2pm. Vendors will have the chance to explain and offer their products and services. More than 70 local vendors will be in attendance.
