Flexlume moving to Lackawanna

The City of Lackawanna has sold a nearly 4-acre development parcel at 1 Albright Court to Flexlume Sign Company for $100,000. Flexlume will build a new manufacturing and office facility on the site, relocating from the city of Buffalo. The move is expected to add ten new jobs to the facility.

Upstate Niagara Cooperative has completed its move to a new headquarters at 368 Pleasant View Drive in Lancaster. The company had been stretched over three separate locations.


People Inc. Oakwood Senior Apartments is accepting applications for a fall move-in.  The apartments at 15 Oakwood Avenue in Blasdell are for people age 55 and over and who meet income eligibility.  An Apartment Application Day for this new housing opportunity will be held this Saturday, October 2nd from 10am-1pm at People Inc. Lilly Senior Living, 36 Arthur Avenue in Blasdell.  Attendees can complete an application on the spot and review any eligibility questions.
