Local gas prices are holding steady at $3.15 for a gallon of unleaded, according to the AAA. That is almost a dollar more than the cost a year ago, when it was $2.19 per gallon.
Within the next few weeks, Empire Building Diagnostics Inc. will relocate from Depew to Lackawanna. Business first reports the company will settle into the former Buffalo Brake Beam building at 400 Ingham Avenue. Empire Building Diagnostics paid a reported $725,000 for the building.
At Thursday's Orchard Park Planning Board meeting, Quaker Crossing owner Gerry Buccheit will be asking for a special permit. Business First noting he'd like to convert the former Northwest Bank site into an urgent care facility.
For foodies, a Jersey Mike's location is coming to Amherst. The eatery will be part of the The Boulevard, formerly known as the Boulevard Consumer Square on Niagara Falls Boulevard near Romney. There is no firm opening date yet.
