A new full-service bank division of BankOnBuffalo parent CNB Bank will be formally rolled out today. Impressia Bank - created for women, by women - will be led by President Mary Kate Loftus and be based in Buffalo.
Biopharmaceutical company Athenex, Inc. and subsidiaries Athenex Pharmaceutical Division, Orascovery and Cell Therapy have filed Chapter 11 proceedings in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas. Business First reports the plan is to sell off its assets by July 1st.
Also according to Business First, Lancaster-based Sealing Devices Inc. has purchased a manufacturing facility and office near its other holdings nearby. Affiliate Altema Enterprises LLC purchased 35 Ward Road from Giardino Holdings for a reported $1.75 million. This is the fifth building within the Sealing Device's complex.
