Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Ingram Micro will celebrate its move to downtown Buffalo on April 13th with a grand opening event. The tech company is moving into the former Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield building at 257 West Genesee Street. Ingram Micro is bringing more than 1,200 employees from its former office in Williamsville to the downtown building that's just a short distance away from the waterfront.
A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held for Nova Countertops at 3875 South Park Avenue in Blasdell next Tuesday morning. Nova makes quartz and granite surfaces for residential and commercial projects.
Daemen University accounting students are offering free tax prep services for households that make $70,000 or less through April 8th. The program is held every Wednesday from 4 p.m.-7 p.m.
