Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - KeyBank has donated $450,000 to Buffalo Go Green and Independent Health's "Healthy Options at Home" program, both of which are located on Buffalo's East Side. The funding is meant to go towards battling food insecurity in the city. The donation was made at the opening of the Delavan-Grider Farmers Market.

Golden Corral might be heading back to Buffalo, per Buffalo Business First. The buffet chain's chief development officer, Dave Conklin, told Business First that Buffalo is on the radar due to the city's accessibility.


ConnectLife is hosting a BloodDrive at the Walden Galleria Saturday afternoon from 2 to 5. All donors will receive a pair of tickets to a Buffalo Bisons game.

Community Health Center of Buffalo will host the family of Emmett Till Saturday at Buff State for a special event called "Facing History: The Revisit", featuring presentations from Till's family and professor Marcus Watson on Emmett Till's impact on current racial justice issues. The event runs from 11 in the morning to 1 in the afternoon.
