Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The popular Lancaster barbecue restaurant Al-E-Oops will close for good next week after 40 years in business at 5389 Genesee Street. The last day of operations will be the night before Thanksgiving. Owner Kevin McGowan told Buffalo Business First he wants to spend more time with family and will eventually list the building for sale.

The BFLO Store is opening a holiday location at 1583 Niagara Falls Boulevard at The Boulevard Consumer Square this Saturday. All items are 25% off Saturday only. There's also a meet and greet with Bills linebacker Joe Andreessen, and Santa Claus will be in store from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The Bridge Niagara Foundation is teaming with Aero Transportation and Naz716 for their 8th Annual Turkey Giveaway this Thursday afternoon at 4 at Henry J. Kalfas Elementary School in Niagara Falls. Five hundred turkeys and dinners will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
