Local gas prices stayed essentially the same as last week. The AAA noting the average for a gallon of unleaded in the Buffalo-Niagara Falls area is $3.45. There has been little change in prices from a month ago, when the pump price was $3.47.

A long-planned expansion of the Buffalo Transportation Pierce-Arrow Museum is about to shift into a higher gear.  Business First reports owner James Sandoro is hoping for Common Council approval of the next phase, coming to about $5 million.  Specifically, Sandoro is trying to gain control of Frank Lloyd Wright Way and Carroll Place, which border his museum at 263 Michigan Avenue.  When added to his building at 186 Exchange Street, Sandoro is hoping to create a  transportation museum campus, with three buildings in all.  The Council considers the sale at its meeting next Tuesday.

Also from Business First - Rachel's Mediterranean Grill is developing a site at the intersection of Hertel and Delaware Avenues for its second city of Buffalo location.  It should be open in four to six months.
