Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A celebration of the Old Pink will be held at Mulligan's Brick Bar, next door to the site of the iconic nightlife spot Friday night at 6. Resurgence Brewery is sponsoring the event. There'll be a beer tent and Old Pink merchandise from 26 Shirts. The celebration was announced earlier this week, but its timing is coincidental. Thursday night, Buffalo Fire confirmed it was arson that destroyed the bar.
Tickets are on sale for the Roycroft Campus Restoration Raffle. Tickets are $100. Just 450 will be sold. A grand prize of $10,000 will be awarded on Thursday, August 29th. Tickets can be purchased in the Copper Shop Gallery, Visitor Center or over the phone.
The SPCA Serving Erie County is offering a two-for-one "Feline Dream Team" adoption special now through Saturday afternoon at 5. All cats of all ages are included in the event. All necessary vaccinations are included. The SPCA is located at 300 Harlem Road in West Seneca.
