Orchard Park, N.Y. (WBEN)....For the second time in recent days, a "locker room" deal saw a former Buffalo Bills' coach sell his Orchard Park house to one of the team's new coaches.
And, the deal marks the 29th time this year, a private residence in Erie County sold for more than $1 million - a key economic indicators within the region's residential real estate industry.
In the latest deal, former Bills' defensive coordinator Bobby Babich sold his house at 18 Braunview Way to the team's new special teams coordinator, Jeff Rodgers.
Babich left the Bills to accept a coaching position with the Green Bay Packers.
Rodgers was special teams coordinator for the Arizona Cardinals.
Babich paid $749,900 for the house two years ago, meaning the value of the five-bedroom residence increased 60% in the past 24 montha.
Of the 29 Eric County homes, this year, that sold for north of $1 million - 11 were in Orchard Park.
The deal comes a few days after former Bills' safety Taylor Rapp sold his Orchard Park residence to the team's new linebacker coach. John Egorugwu for $850,000.
