Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Liberty Hound at the Buffalo Naval Park is switching to a new theme for fall and winter, taking the name PARMED with an Italian-inspired menu that includes chicken and veal cutlets, meatballs, shrimp parmesan, pastas and more. PARMED opens October 15th, the first day of Buffalo Restaurant Week.

Erie County has recorded its 78th $1 million home sale of the year with a house on Knollwood Lane in Amherst selling for $1.15 million, according to Erie County Clerk records. It's the second deal this week to top the $1 million mark. Based on current trends, Erie County could set a new record for sales of homes for $1 million or more by the end of the month. The record of 83 was set just last year.

Buffalo architect and founder of Carmina Wood Design Steve Carmina has been elected chairman of Buffalo Place Incorporated. He'll replace Keith Belanger, who resigned from the post after serving for 27 years.
