Catholic Charities' HOPE Day raised more than $528,000 for Appeal 2026, pushing the annual campaign past the halfway mark of its $8 million goal. The Appeal funds dozens of Catholic Charities programs, which benefitted more than 135,000 people in Western New York last year. This year's fundraiser runs through June 30th.
The Belle Center, which provides education and social programs for children, seniors and families in Western New York, began its 50th anniversary celebration last night with a time capsule opening. The Belle Center is located at 104 Maryland Street in Buffalo.
