Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Southern Tier Brewing and Perry's are collaborating to make Cherry Pie Imperial Ale. It's the third year in a row the two companies have worked together. The ale is available on tap right now at Southern Tier's tap rooms and will arrive on store shelves soon.
Another honor for Roswell as the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses has awarded the hospital its Beacon Award for Excellence in high-quality, patient-centered care. It's the second national nursing award Roswell has received this year, with the other being the Magnet Recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Tops' annual Red Kettle Campaign with the Salvation Army and its Gift of Warmth Drive with M&T were rousing successes this year, with the Red Kettle Campaign raising $1,046,586 - a $40,000 increase from last year. The Gift of Warmth campaign collected almost 5,000 winter clothing items.
BPO Music Director JoAnn Falletta has been named to Daemen University's Board of Trustees. She's joined by Empire State Development's Lynn Marinelli. Both will serve three-year terms.
