
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - "Spring into Space" launched this morning at the Buffalo Museum of Science. Reps from the Challenger Center of Orleans, Niagara and Erie Counties will be there to help visitors analyze space rocks and build mini Mars rovers. It's part of month of space-themed programming at the museum.
The owners of the former Radisson Hotel on Grand Island are expanding their search for a buyer. According to Buffalo Business First, a deal for the hotel recently fell through. The current owners of the property purchased it for over $6 million in 2022 with the idead of turning the hotel into an apartment building. The initial listing price was $10.2 million. That eventually dropped to $6.9 million.
The Bills have started working on the playing surface at the new stadium, which will be handled by SCG Fields. SCG will build field infrastructure that controls air flow and temperature. The team tells the Buffalo News that they want the grass surface installed by the fall so they can see how it holds up through the winter.
Gas dropped 1 cent in Buffalo over the last week, coming in at $3.06 per gallon Monday. The average across New York State dropped 3 cents to $3.11.
