
Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Spectrum Health & Human Services is getting some help from the state in the form of $4 million that will be used to repair and renovate their Main Street headquarters in Buffalo. The building was damaged during the 2022 Christmas blizzard. The $4 million award follows another $9 million recently given to Spectrum Health through the state's Health Care Facility Transformation Program.
Price Rite is slowly growing more popular among Western New Yorkers. The chain's local market share has grown almost .4% to 2.17% this year, with data being based on grocery sales alone. Vice President of operations and merchandising Bill Devin told Business First the company feels "Buffalo is truly a great market for us because it's truly diverse."
Evan Loomis of Amherst-based Level Financial Advisors has been named to the board of directors for the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. Loomis is in charge of Level Financial's recently acquired California operations.
Gas prices jumped 3 cents in Buffalo since last Monday with a gallon costing you $3.21. That's still way down from where prices were at this time last year throughout the state when a gallon cost $3.43.
