Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Highmark has moved responsibility for its stadium naming rights payments to its Pennsylvania parent company. The terms of the naming rights deal were never released by Highmark or the Bills, but Buffalo Business First says the company's financial statements for 2024 reported $2 million in commitments to the Bills over the last two fiscal years.
A little bit of a boost is coming for Buffalo's entertainment district as Third Space Cafe and Entertainment is moving into the Sidway Building at 777 Main Street. That's the former location of Kaydara Noodle Bar, Perks Cafe and Club Heat.
UB's School of Public Health and Health Professions ranked 42nd in the nation and first in New York in the latest list of top graduate schools by U.S. News & World Report. UB's School of Education ranked 54th in its category, while the School of Law jumped up 14 spots to number 94. Canisius' Wehle Business School also moved into the top 100 for graduate business programs.
Panera Bread has opened a 24/7 location in the main lobby of Oishei Children's Hospital. It's taking over a space previously occupied by Tim Hortons.
