Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Tesla is laying off 27 more employees in Buffalo this summer, according to a WARN notice filed to New York State Tuesday. That brings the total number of pending layoffs at the factory to 343 people. Tesla cites economic reasons for the cuts. The plant currently employs 2,032 people.

Buffalo Go Green, an organization that provides fresh produce to underserved communities, is getting some help from the Buffalo Bills to build their new Holistic Wellness & Agricultural Education Campus. The Campus will be on Buffalo's East Side and will give local residents lessons on nutrition and cooking. There'll also be a hyrdoponic farm on the campus where produce is grown. The Buffalo Bills Foundation is helping fund the project.


Tito's Tavern is now open in Amherst at 704 Maple Road. Tito's features a menu of smash burgers, chicken sandwiches and other chicken entrees. The bar features Tito's Vodka, of course. Tito's Tavern is open from 4pm to 9pm Tuesday through Thursday and noon to 9pm Friday and Saturday.
