Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - A $4.2 million renovation is coming to The Westin Buffalo, its first major renovation since the hotel opened in 2016. Per Buffalo Business First, every room in the hotel will have king-sized beds, which owner Delaware North hopes will attract more high-end guests.
Buffalo will host an international winter fitness event called SnowGlobe from Friday, January 31st to Sunday, February 2nd, which is expected to bring more than 100 visitors to the city. Indoor and outdoor events will be held at Canalside, Niagara Square and the Richardson Complex. Tickets can be purchased online for $35.
NBT Bank, which recently purchased Evans Bank, is appointing three Evans executives to leadership roles. Ken Pawlak will serve as Buffalo Regional President. Tim Brown will be Rochester Regional President and Audrey Meyers will be Senior Manager for Retail Banking in Buffalo and Rochester.
