Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Toys "R" Us is back, at least for the time being, at the Walden Galleria. The seasonal location is expected to open by Black Friday in a 5,000 square foot space on the mall's first floor next to Urban Outfitters.

Niagara Falls City Schools superintendent Mark Laurrie has been selected to lead the American Heart Association's Eastern States Superintendent Council. Laurrie will lead a group of 18 other superintendents across 13 states, with the group's stated goal being to help find solutions for issues facing schools and districts.


Gateway Longview is bringing back its annual Holiday Hope Gift Campaign, which used to be called Adopt-an-Angel. Donors including businesses, church groups, families and individuals will be assigned one of 1,000 wishlists from children in need. The deadline to signup is December 5th, while gift drop-offs are due December 12th.

The Camelot Village Apartments on McKinley Parkway in Blasdell have sold for almost $28.5 million. It's one of the largest local commercial real estate deals this year.
