Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Trocaire College has officially opened its new state-of-the-art veterinary sciences building at 6681 Transit Road in Lancaster. The space underwent a massive renovation with the addition of over 3,200 square feet of space for the school's veterinary program. The new space includes a surgery suite and prep room, dental lab, radiology, teaching labs and more.
French manufacturer Saint-Gobain plans to build a $40 million ceramics factory at 6600 Walmore Road in Wheatfield. The state is putting $1 million towards construction, while the company is looking for $7.2 million in tax exemptions from the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency. According to Buffalo Business First, the project will create 30 jobs and is expected to be completed in 2028.
