Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - Have you ever wanted to be on a reality TV show? Well, this could be your opportunity as CBS is hosting auditions for their reality television show Big Brother today. Auditions will be hosted in the Park Place Center at Batavia Downs from two o'clock this afternoon to seven o'clock this evening. Applicants are encouraged to pre-register online at the WROC website.
Due tomorrow, the Walden Galleria mall must finish paying off a $270 million dollar loan to lender JPMorgan Chase & Co. Buffalo Business First reports that the mall, owned by Pyramid Management Group, secured the loan in April of 2012, and has since paid off about $49 million. The Galleria Mall is a major employer in New York, and drives a significant amount of the local economy. If Pyramid Management fails to make the final payment when it's due, they have a few options. According the Matt Reidy, director of commercial real estate economics for Moody's Analytics, Pyramid Group can either pay off the loan, seek an extension to the loan, or walk away from their debt.
