Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - The national average price for a gallon of gasoline is $3.05, down three cents from last Monday. One year ago, the price was $3.25. The New York State average is $3.16, up one cent from last Monday. A year ago, the New York average was $3.55.
Now that December is here, gas prices continue to decline at the national level along with demand. According to the latest data from the Energy Information Administration (EIA), gas prices decreased minimally last week just ahead of Thanksgiving holiday travel.
Oil trading is in the high $60s to low $70s per barrel Monday morning. With low oil costs and tepid domestic gasoline demand after Thanksgiving, pump prices could continue to drop over the few weeks.

Same ownership, new management.
As of Aug. 15, Summit Malls Management LLC, doing business as Summit Properties USA, took over management of the McKinley Mall in Blasdell. Kohan Retail Investment Group, through an LLC, remains owner of the site.
Summit Properties USA is a subsidiary of Summit Real Estate Group, a real estate investment group of companies. The firm has 120 assets, 5,350 tenants and owns 64.5 million square feet of land, according to its website. The group does property management, holding and development.

Due to the winter weather over the weekend in Western New York, the performance of Motown Christmas scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 1 at Shea's Performing Arts Center was postponed. Severe conditions on the New York State Thruway did not allow for the traveling musicians to arrive at the theatre.
The show will be rescheduled, and a new date will be announced later this week.
