Buffalo, N.Y. (WBEN) - ECMC and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees have ratified a new five-year collective bargaining agreement. Wages for union members will go up by 15% over those five years. The union has members in all kinds of jobs, from nurses to corrections officers.
TechBuffalo, Be in Buffalo and 43North are hosting the fifth annual Women in Tech WNY event at Seneca One this afternoon from 1pm-5pm. More than 20 speakers from companies like Microsoft, M&T Bank, Rich Products and CannonDesign will be there. The event focuses on leadership, career pathways and the future of tech in the region.
Hilbert College has named Marty Blind as the school's new Director of Advancement. Blind will focus on fundraising, donor engagement and the school's long-term philanthropic efforts. He currently is a Major Gifts Officer at St. Bonaventure.
